Step 1 Garnish the glass with a gold encrusted sugar rim, by brushing the edge of the glass with either lemon juice or sugar syrup for a stronger bond. Then carefully spoon on the rim over a bowl. Step 2 Shake all ingredients apart from the champagne with ice, strain into a coupette and top with champagne.
