Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please review our returns policy below.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any product purchased from Stinky Fish Challenge.
Condition of Returns
Products must be unopened and in their original packaging to be eligible for a return and refund.
Perishable Products Exception
For health and safety reasons, opened surströmming products cannot be returned. Due to the nature of fermented fish products, once the seal has been broken we are unable to accept them back. Please ensure you are happy with your order before opening.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@stinkyfishchallenge.com with the following information:
- Your order number
- The product(s) you wish to return
- Your reason for the return
Our customer service team will respond with return instructions within 1-2 business days.
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and process your refund within 14 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit during the return process.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage or incorrect product. We will arrange either:
- A full replacement shipped at no additional cost, or
- A full refund including original shipping costs
You will not need to cover return shipping for damaged or incorrect items.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order through our website.
